About Scal'in

Scal’in is a two-person operation: Rémi and Géraldine make a well-balanced team, combining on-site work and sales support.

Rémi decided to start his own business under the Scal'in franchise in 2016 after more than 15 years as a bricklayer in the company where his father worked. He started alone, and quickly had the opportunity to work on many complex projects, mostly in the South of France.

Géraldine joined Scal’in in September 2018 to oversee operations and sales. Having previously worked in various retail, real estate, and brokerage businesses, she understands the intricacies of interior design projects, and is devoted to providing the highest level of support.

We both decided to explore new horizons and come to Texas to further expand Scal’in’s footprint. We are very excited to bring our expertise to local architectural projects.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

LOCALLY SOURCED

We focus on quality but also on our environmental impact by using recycled concrete. As its raw materials are present in our soil, concrete is totally recyclable. We also try to reduce our impact by using only locally manufactured concrete.

LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION

The concrete’s thermal mass reduces energy consumption for heating or cooling by up to 50%.

USE OF SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

Our casts are made of either wood, which can be recycled, or resin, which can be reused.
